In our continuous perusal to provide latest Technology to our Customers, we are pleased to inform that we are now retrofitting Sheetfed Offset Printers, Flexo Printing Machines – Narrow and Wide web, Screen Printing Machines and UV Coating Machines with UV LED system. Together with our Technical partners, we have already done 12 installations in the Delhi NCR region and are running successfully. Kindly review the following benefits of UV LED system, compared to the Conventional UV Systems :
- Power Saving : UV LED provide a huge power savings of approx. 75% compared to the conventional UV Lamps. Keeping in view of the Expensive power this results in faster ROI and greater savings thereafter.
- Zero make Ready Time : Compared to the Conventional UV Lamps that take 2 – 3 minutes to warm up and get ready, the UV LED system required zero ready time. Also if a conventional UV Lamp turns off in between, it will not restart till the time it has cooled down. This is not the case with UV LED which is based on instant ON and OFF system.
- Heat Dissipation : UV LED dissipates almost negligible heat compared to Conventional UV Lamp which generate a large amount of heat. Thus UV LED can also be used to print Heat Sensitive media like various plastic sheets.
- Higher Lamp Life : Conventional UV Lamp have a life span of up to 1500 hours, whereas the UV LED Lamps have a life span of up to 10,000 hours. This also results in savings of recurring cost.
- Eco Friendly : UV LED does not produce any Ozone, heat or fumes and is thus Eco-friendly.
- Capital Cost : There is a great deal of misconception that UV LED requires huge capital investment. On the contrary we require only two UV LED cassette on a 5 Color Machine. One after White and second after CYMK. With only 2 UV LED Cassettes you can run the Machine at 9000 sph. With much lesser Cassettes and higher speeds the capital cost actually comes to be lower than the conventional UV system.
- UV LED Inks : UV LED Inks are now readily available and prices have also come down recently. Due to it’s advantages there is bound to be tremendous growth in the UV LED segment. With more suppliers entering the UV LED inks segment, prices will certainly drop further. Even today keeping in mind the capital cost, higher speed, energy savings and other advantages, UV LED is in fact more economical than the conventional UV system.
